UAF interim chancellor selection process underway

On June 9, University of 猫咪社区官网 President Pat Pitney announced the search for an interim chancellor to lead the University of 猫咪社区官网 Fairbanks. This is a final reminder that applications and nominations are due by Sunday, June 23.
The interim chancellor is expected to be appointed in early July and serve through summer 2026 or until a permanent chancellor is selected. Internal and external candidates are eligible, and applicants may apply whether or not they intend to pursue the permanent position.
To apply, candidates should email a brief letter of interest (two pages maximum) and a r茅sum茅 or CV to ua.president@alaska.edu with the subject line 鈥淚nterim UAF Chancellor.鈥 Nominations may also be sent to the same address and must include contact information for the nominee.
President Pitney will consult with UAF governance leaders, key administrators, stakeholders, and the Board of Regents before making an appointment. Details on the permanent search will be announced in fall 2025.
